Best plants: Moisture lovers: peace lily, calathea, ferns, pothos and aglaonema. Avoid succulents and cacti.
How to water: Fill the tray and let the plant drink for 30 minutes, then pour away what's left after an hour. Water from the top once a month to flush out salts.
Where to place it: Coffee tables, side stools by the sofa, consoles, shelves and office desks. A thoughtful gift.
What's included: The handcrafted ceramic planter with a drainage hole, plus a matching tray. Plants aren't included.
Care: Wipe with a damp cloth, and use glass cleaner or mild soap for marks.
